As the Associate Specialist, Sales Training, you will partner with stakeholders to develop and lead the execution of educational programs for health care providers and internal product trainings/sales trainings. Your responsibilities will include supporting sales training activities such as coordinating and setting up clinical lab sessions. This is an exciting entry-level opportunity to gain hands-on experience and grow within a dynamic clinical training environment.
The position will be on-site (Monday – Friday) at our Irvine headquarters. Candidate must reside within a reasonable distance from the Irvine Corporate location and have ability to commute onsite. Occasional travel to regional clinical sites may be required.
How you’ll make an impact:
- Coordinates clinical lab training and logistics
- Support TMTT Sales training activities through physiologic lab setup and troubleshooting
- Prepare animal heart models and distribute to regional labs
- Interface with R&D and Clinical Development on the continuing development of the laboratory-based training equipment and materials
- Understand basic elements of EVOQUE and PASCAL procedures to support labs, equipment requirements, and process improvements
- Manage and maintain training equipment inventory and help to provide accurate assessment of equipment needs
- Meet with vendors and participate in the development of training equipment
- Collaborate with team to develop training execution plans
What you'll need (Required):
- Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Health sciences, or Biomedical Engineering or related fields
- Minimum 1 year of relevant internship or experience in a clinical lab or medical field environment
What else we look for (Preferred):
- Relevant medical field experience or training as an OR technician, trauma technician, cath lab technician or paramedic highly preferred
- Proficient with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Professional communication and presentation skills, interpersonal relationship management skills including ability to influence
- Comfortable handling animal tissue
- Demonstrates capability to work independently with minimal supervision, manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proven problem-solving, critical thinking and strict attention to detail ability
- Basic to moderate knowledge and understanding of cardiovascular science (cardiovascular anatomy, pathology and physiology) preferred.
- Able to manage confidential information with discretion
- Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels
- Thrives in a cross functional team environment, including inter-departmental teams and representing the organization on specific projects
- Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control

For California (CA), the base pay range for this position is $57,000 to $80,000 (highly experienced).
