How you’ll make an impact:
- Support coordination of monthly, forecast, Annual Operating Plan, and Strategic Plan submissions
- Prepare key actuals and forecast reports and work with the rest of the team to identify and explain material changes
- Work closely with business unit stakeholders and finance partners to build accurate forecasts and perform variance analysis
- Prepare and update documentation of FP&A processes; collaborate with management on process improvements
- Support ad hoc reporting and analysis and support other initiatives as needed
- Other incidental duties
What you'll need (Required):
- Bachelor's Degree in locally recognized degree/certification in Accounting or Finance
- 5 Years experience of relevant working experience
What else we look for (Preferred):
- Proven expertise in MS Office Suite, including advanced Excel, PowerPoint and related financial systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including consultative and relationship management skills
- Language proficiency is required to read, write and speak English
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and investigative skills
- Solid knowledge and understanding of Edwards policies, procedures, and guidelines relevant to financial planning and month-end processes
- Good understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Solid understanding of multi-relational impact of the Balance Sheet, P&L, and Cash Flow Statement and how journal entries affect each statement
- Solid knowledge of financial concepts and principles
- Expertise in own functional area and ability to coach others in various functional areas impacted within the business
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Strict attention to detail
- Ability to interact professionally and independently with all organizational levels
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams and key contact representing the department on projects
- Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
- Travel (day and overnight by car, air, train, etc.) will vary. Percentage of time is determined by Management
