The Manager, Technical Training will define the standardization and implementation of new or enhancements to the technical training lifecycle portfolio impacting key Operations' business objectives across a plant location or multiple plants within a network.
How You'll Make An Impact:
Oversight of technical training for all manufacturing systems and training facilities/equipment including planning and directing technical training project activities with the accountability for successful completion of all project deliverables to the business within established schedule, scope and quality objectives. Identify risk, develop mitigation strategies, alternative solutions, critical path, resolve issues, action item follow-up, etc. in collaboration with project managers
Strategize training capacity and compliance requirements definition within assigned site including planning and developing product training schedule, fulfil all training coordination to meet targeted capacity plan within assigned site
Collaborate and negotiate paths forward with cross-functional teams or department leaders to meet technical training goals (e.g., manage dynamic resource allocations)
Serve as subject matter expert on all manufacturing systems and training facilities / equipment including planning and directing sections of technical training project activities with the accountability for successful completion of all project deliverables to the business within established schedule, scope and quality objectives.
Identify Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) opportunities and lead the implementation of changes to drive improvements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams or department leaders to meet technical training goals (e.g., gather stakeholder requirements and provide progress updates)

What You'll Need:
Bachelor's Degree and 8 years experience in a manufacturing and/or training environment Required
Demonstrated experience in data analytics Required
Certification in adult learning/training delivery or assessment experience working in research product development, training and development, or manufacturing operations within a medical device manufacturing environment preferred
What Else We Look For:
Proven successful project management expertise
Proven expertise in both Microsoft Office Suite and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, preferably JDE
Excellent communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives
Extensive understanding of technical training procedures while defining team operating standards and ensuring essential procedures are followed based on knowledge of own discipline
Extensive understanding of related aspects of technical training processes and/or systems including training function, Training Processes and Systems, Product Training SOP’s and Work Instructions, Good 'X" Practices (GxP), and Manufacturing Operations
Ability to develop and integrate metrics into the projects and operations that clearly demonstrate the value of technical training to the business
Strict attention to detail
Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
Represents leadership on sections of projects within a specific area interfacing with project managers and stakeholders
Interacts with team members and other managers and may include suppliers, vendors and/or customers
Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
