Senior Finance Manager for the Global Planning, Sourcing and Logistics (GPS&L) and Quality to lead the EMEA, Canada and LATAM region
How you’ll make an impact:
- Business Partnership: Serve as a key strategic finance partner to the VP of Supply Chain for the EMEA, Canada and LATAM region and participate as a member of the regional supply chain leadership team
- Financial Planning, Analysis and Reporting: Lead the annual operating planning, strategic planning and routine financial forecasting with a focus on capturing changing business dynamics and robust financial control & governance
- Communication and Presentation: This role is responsible for supporting the communication of the financial results and the presentation of business/financial strategy to the Global Planning, Sourcing and Logistics Leadership Team, the regional Business Unit Team, and the Finance Leadership Team
- Strategy & Project Execution: As part of the regional supply chain team, this role will partner with Business Leaders to provide financial valuation, execution, controllership and value realization on various projects including Value Improvement Projects (Cost Optimization)
- Month-End Close and Reporting: Perform month-end close activities and ensure accurate, timely financial reports in line with Edwards’ policies
- Inventory Accounting Management: Lead the regional E&O governance and regional inventory accounting
- Process Improvement: At Edwards, we have a continuous improvement mindset. This role will collaborate with the rest of GPS&L Finance team to identify, design and implement financial process efficiency and simplification
What you'll need (Required):
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
- A minimum of ten years of Accounting & Corporate Finance related experience
What else we look for (Preferred):
- Supply Chain Finance or Cost Accounting background
- Excellent financial modeling and FP&A capabilities; ability to synthesize complex data into meaningful business insights
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to influence diverse stakeholders, from senior executives to cross-functional teams
- Advance Excel, Power Bi, and other related emerging digital capabilities
- Ability to work and excel within a fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving work environment
- Mission-driven leader comfortable navigating ambiguity in matrix environments while driving results and maintaining accountability
- Superior business partner with ability to interpret results and provide insights.
- Excellent presentation, communication and collaboration skills with all levels of management
- Proactive with an aptitude to optimize processes and influence change
