This is a 6-month internship where you will train with passionate team members who are making a meaningful impact at Edwards. Based on your performance and business needs, you may have the opportunity to continue your career with us after the program. 

 

Location: Valencia, Spain 

Duration: 6 months internship, 30-40 hours/week 

Recruitment process: May-August

Within our recruitment process, you will be selected into one of our teams based on your background and skills. We are currently looking for interns in the following teams: 

Quality Compliance 

  • Focused on supporting partnership satisfaction, you ‘ll investigate customer inquiries and provide timely resolution to complex obstacles. 

  • Key skills: communication, relationship-building, attention to detail 

Quality Engineering 

  • Dedicated to patient-experience excellence, you’ll apply engineering principles and conduct lab experiments to support the quality of our devices. 

  • Key skills: problem solving, communicative 

Quality Systems (Digital Quality) 

  • Support digitalization initiatives within Quality Systems by analyzing processes, proposing digital solutions, and improving efficiency, traceability, and compliance 

  • Key skills: analytical thinking, interest in data and automation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams (Quality, IT, and operations) 

Quality Systems ((FCA & Interplant Relationship) 

  • Support Quality Systems projects by managing intercompany service records, ensuring data accuracy, and contributing to audit-ready documentation aligned with FCA and Interplant requirements 

  • Key skills: attention to detail, data accuracy mindset, and collaboration; interest in digital tools and AI-driven process improvement 

 

What you’ll need: 

  • Currently enrolled in Bachelor’s or Master´s program in Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related engineering field. 

  • Involved in your final year of the degree, with the possibility of transitioning into a postgraduate role upon successful completion of the internship and graduation 

  • Enrolled in your final year of the degree, with the possibility of transitioning into a postgraduate role upon successful completion of the internship and graduation 

  • 30 - 40h/week availability for min. 6 months. 

  • Comfortable working in English and Spanish 

  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
