Becton Dickinson (BD) recently completed the acquisition of the Edwards Critical Care business.  This position is part of the Critical Care division, and as such will become a part of the BD organization in the future.  Critical Care will operate as a separate business unit, called Advanced Patient Monitoring (APM) within BD's medical segment, aligning with BD's smart connected care approach.   BD is one of the largest global medical technology companies in the world and is advancing the world of health by improving medical discovery, diagnostics and the delivery of care. Accordingly to the company's channel strategy, build a suitable channel model for business development; analyze the effectiveness of the existing channels and jointly develop, adjust and optimize the channels based on the business strategy

You will make an impact by...
• Formulate and implement department strategies, explore potential distributors and expand new business channels
• Actively cooperate with business, participate in the daily management of distributors in line with distributors' performance; Formulate improvement plans for poor performance distributors and terminate unqualified distributors.
• Participate in the formulation of channel management policies and distributor incentive policies and actively provide suggestions, including pricing strategies, rebate policies, promotion policies and rules for submitting invoices; follow up on the implementation of each channel policy and submit periodic interim analysis reports on the policy implementation and improvement
• Ensure distributors operate in compliance with regulations; manage the accuracy of distributors' forecasts for inventory; have deep understanding of regional channel situation and improve the effectiveness of the channel through data analysis on distributors' inventory; sales and stock levels

What you'll need (Required):
Bachelor's Degree in in related field, 8 years’ experience previous related experience Required
Master's Degree or equivalent in in related field Preferred

What else we look for (Preferred):
• Proven successful project management leadership skills
• Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and related tools and systems e.g. sales force.com
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills including high discretion/judgment in decision making
• Good presentation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives
• Extensive understanding of channel operations procedures while contributing to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards
• Extensive understanding of related aspects of channel operations processes and/or systems e.g. sales force.com
• Knowledge of financial mechanism that relates to channel operations
• Extensive in medical device policies related to channel operations area
• Strict attention to detail
• Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization
• Ability to work and excel within a fast paced, dynamic, and constantly changing work environment
• Represents leadership on sections of projects within a specific area
• Develop relationships and leverage them to influence change
• Demonstrated track record in people management required
• Experience working in a regulated industry preferred
• Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
