This role is an on-site or hybrid role based at Edwards’ corporate headquarters in Irvine, California.
How you will make an impact:
The Manager, Indirect Sourcing provides expertise to stakeholders and manages indirect sourcing projects, advancing our vendor relationships and optimizing for value, effectiveness, and impact.
- Lead and manage key activities with technology and service suppliers, including discovery, initial contact, evaluations, negotiations, renewals, escalations, and innovations.
- Advise requestors from internal business units on technology selection, enterprise licensing, vendor engagement models, RFx processes, products/services, build vs. buy decisions, and requirements development.
- Review and enhance vendor-related documents, such as MSAs, SOWs, licensing and SaaS agreements, performance data, and presentations.
- Drive successful vendor outcomes by optimizing services, costs, terms, relationships, and innovation.
- Organize and lead vendor meetings, quarterly business reviews, presentations, and onsite/offsite visits.
- Resolve vendor issues related to requirements, performance, invoices, agreements, deliverables, and SLAs.
- Develop and implement procedures, templates, tools, and presentations to support the vendor management strategy and act as a vendor engagement SME.
- Oversee strategic vendor evaluations and performance reporting.
- Negotiate vendor agreements for services, SaaS, software, and more.
- Formulate and execute vendor corrective action plans, maintaining strong relationships
- Oversee software license management to ensure compliance, optimize usage, and reduce costs through effective tracking, renewal, and auditing processes.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
What you will need (required):
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 8 years of related experience
What else we look for (preferred):
- Technical fluency or strong familiarity in multiple key areas of IT
- Experience negotiating software/SaaS agreements…MS, Oracle, Salesforce, ServiceNow
- Vendor management experience with industry-leading firms
- Strong knowledge of contract terms and conditions and redlining skills
- Proven successful project management skills
- Proven expertise in both Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and source-to-pay (e.g., Coupa) system
- Previous experience with AI/ML technologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of full lifecycle of strategic indirect sourcing activities
- Excellent leadership skills and ability to influence change
- Strict attention to detail
- Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization

For California (CA), the base pay range for this position is $102,000 to $145,000 (highly experienced).
The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).
