- Provide guidance to Fitness Center Members, ensuring appropriate use of equipment and exercise techniques, monitoring and coaching members during their exercise routines
- Support fitness center operations including but not limited to maintenance, cleanliness and safety of all equipment, towel management, and ensure fitness center guidelines are adhered to
- Provide programming recommendations, fitness programs and may include other programs to ensure employees are working towards improving their overall health
- Conduct safe and effective assessments including cardiovascular, strength, flexibility and body composition analysis; evaluate and interpret data and recommend programming to support their goals
- Support stretch program including offering guidance to employees on proper stretch form, conducting stretch sessions, and documenting stretch activities
- Teach group exercise classes

- High School Diploma and 2 years of experience in a fitness related role
- Certified Personal Trainer
- CPR, AED and First Aid Certification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science or other related field preferred
- Prior experience leading group fitness classes
- Previous exposure to or training in yoga or other stretching programs
- Experience managing health and wellness programs
- Must be able to work independently and apply good judgment
- Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels; can work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams; occasionally with contacts outside own organization
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
- Ability to provide feedback in a professional, direct, and tactful manner
- Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control

For California (CA), the base pay range for this position is $42,000 to $57,000 (highly experienced).
