innovations for structural heart disease. As part of our R&D Engineering team, you will work closely with our Quality and Manufacturing teams to develop the latest tools and technologies to address significant, unmet clinical needs that impact patients’ lives around the world.
How you’ll make an impact:
- Fabricate and build Prototypes – weld, screw, glue, cut, etc. (handles, shafts, and implants)
- Performing hands-on Tests, assembling under the microscope
- Data collection, reports writing, equipment qualification, and additional R&D support
- Working together with R&D engineers to translate design needs to early stage concepts to be tested in multiple simulators with R&D teams
- Additional R&D Support
What you'll need (Required):
- High school diploma
- Practical Engineer diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent - Advantage
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical environments involving microscope work
- Experience with laser welding, adhesives and mechanical assembly
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings
