This position will be a hybrid role, based in Naperville, Illinois.
How you will make an impact:
Engage with key business stakeholders and leaders to understand business problems and needs, and effectively communicate architectural strategy and solutions to align to these needs
Take ownership and continuously review code to ensure it is scalable, reusable, and works across multiple applications
Mentoring and guiding the software development team in all aspects of development and best coding practices
Participate in project estimations and system architecture design decisions
Assist in automating the build pipeline to enhance the DevOps and CI/CD processes
What you'll need (Required):
5-10+ years of experience in developing software using languages such as .NET Core, Angular, Python, React Native, Java (Android Studio), GraphQL
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure Devops) and scripting languages such as Powershell and Bash
Experience with full stack development.
Database experience, including knowledge of DynamoDB, Postgres, redis, SQL Server and mySQL
Experience in the full SDLC
Ability to work closely with product, engineering and design teams
Working with leadership and senior management in developing a software development roadmap and mobile strategy
Experience working on Agile Scrum teams Knowledge and understanding of system flow charts, data processing concepts, and telecommunications principles
Excellent written/verbal communication, presentation, and listening skills
Bachelor's Degree (Computer Science or related) from four-year College or University plus 12 or more years of related experience; or Master's Degree + 10 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
What else we look for (Preferred):
Experience with AWS services including Cloud Architecture
Experience with REST, microservices architectures, containerization and event driven systems
Certification as an AWS Solutions Architect, a Cloud Security Certification or other cloud-related certifications are also a plus
Experience with Datadog, SonarQube, Snyk, and Azure DevOps CI/CD including pipeline automation and quality gates
Worked in healthcare or medical device industry/ FDA regulated
The position is remote however it would be nice to be present at the corporate office for occasional visits including team building, important events, and special occasions
Additional Skills:
Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
Travel (day and overnight by car, air, train, etc.) will vary. Percentage of time is determined by Management

For Illinois (IL), the base pay range for this position is $136,000 to $192,000 (highly experienced). The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).
