Make a meaningful difference to Canadians suffering from structural heart diseases by joining Edwards' team. This 1-year contract is designed for early-career professionals to contribute to Public Affairs & Market Access strategies in Canada, with exposure to international initiatives within the EEMEACLA region. How you will make an impact:
Own 1-2 key projects aligned with Edwards Canada strategic priorities – define project scope, deliverables, timelines, and KPIs with manager.
Monitor trends in published literature, health technology assessments, databases, and government healthcare policies.
Review and critically appraise literature, global/regional data/content packages, clinical summaries, translating findings into value messages for Canadian clinicians, hospital administration/executives, health technology assessment agencies, and government stakeholders.
Support the creation of materials that summarize the value of Edwards’ innovations.
Support Director and Managers prepare presentations, briefings, and reports for business units, regional partners, and supporting functions.
Collaborate with Business Unit partners on critical programs that involve Public Affairs & Market Access.
What you will need:
University degree (bachelor or master level) in scientific field
Ability to comprehend scientific publications within the healthcare and life sciences field.
Demonstrated ability to be adaptable/flexible in a fluid environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
General understanding and interest in the Canadian healthcare landscape
Strong MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills.
Relevant pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device experience is an asset
Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
