Lead and provide support in projects for the manufacturing area. This includes: projects for the introduction of new products, cost reduction projects, automation projects and material change projects. In addition, validation and implementation of product changes and changes related to projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and develop projects to optimize manufacturing processes, including the use of engineering methods (Six Sigma, Lean) for the continuous improvement of processes and products.
• Validate and implement changes of products, processes or equipment.
• Develop moderately complex tests and experiments (including writing and execution of protocols) to qualify and validate manufacturing processes; follow up on protocol activities, train technicians; analyze results, make recommendations and develop reports.
• Identify, give support and implement opportunities for continuous improvement to manufacturing processes or systems.
• Submit changes (creation and changes of structures, procedures and documents) through the Change Control Systems of Edwards Lifesciences.
• Analyze and solve moderately complex Manufacturing and compliance problems (for example, CAPA, non-conformities, audit observations).
• Establish, support or manage project plans to ensure that deliverables are completed according to the client's expectations, using the project management tools (for example, project plan, risk analysis).
• Supervise the activities assigned to the engineering technicians, ensuring their compliance in support of the applicable projects.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in in Electronic Engineering, Mechanics, Mechatronics, Industrial, Chemistry, Industrial Design or other related field, 2 Years years experience of previous related experience Required or
Master's Degree or equivalent in in Electronic Engineering, Mechanics, Mechatronics, Industrial, Chemistry, Industrial Design or other related field internship, senior projects, or thesis in Engineering or Scientific field including either industry or industry/education Required
CAD experience Preferred
Additional Skills:
• Good computer skills in the use of MS Office Suite
• Good documentation, communication (written and verbal English) and interpersonal relationship skills including consultative and relationship management skills
• Basic knowledge of statistical techniques
• Solid understanding and knowledge of principles, theories and concepts relevant to Engineering.
• Solid problem solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills
• Solid knowledge of the processes and equipment used in the assigned work
• Strict attention to detail
• Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels
• Ability to manage competitive priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work in a team environment, including the ability to manage suppliers and project stakeholders
• Ability to build productive internal / external productive relationships
• Ability to comply with the standards, regulations, procedures and quality manuals applicable to Edwards Lifesciences
