In understanding the challenges of open-heart surgery, we partner with surgical teams to deliver modern technologies intended to enhance patients’ quality of life and expand their potential treatment opportunities.

Position Summary:  Responsible for developing and executing global product marketing strategies to effectively commercialize Edwards’ Transcatheter Edge-to-Edge Repair (TEER) portfolio. This role partners cross-functionally and with regional teams to ensure alignment on product positioning, launch execution, and lifecycle management, supporting adoption across key stakeholders including sales representatives, clinicians, and hospital administrators.

How you will make an impact: 

  • Develop and execute annual global product marketing plans aligned with business objectives and regional strategies

  • Lead development and execution of marketing materials, product messaging, and sales enablement tools, including delivery of global sales force training

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Clinical, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Legal, Operations) to ensure compliant, evidence-based product communications

  • Support product lifecycle management, including minor product launches, line extensions, and product updates

  • Partner with Product/Brand Managers to develop marketing programs and materials that support product launch and commercialization strategies in alignment with established brand guidelines and procedures

  • Collaborate with regional marketing teams to adapt global strategies to local market dynamics and ensure consistent execution

  • Partner with Demand Planning and Operations to support accurate forecasting for product launches and ongoing product supply

  • Lead defined components of the global congress management process, including planning and execution of congress deliverables

  • Support engagement with key opinion leaders (KOLs) to gather insights and enhance product adoption and positioning

  • Manage forecasting, production, storage, and distribution of marketing collateral and product samples

  • Drive marketing materials and product labeling through all required regulatory and legal approval processes

  • Develop and maintain product and kit labeling required for regional product approvals

  • Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and quality standards, including Environmental Health & Safety requirements

Given the collaborative nature of this work, this is an in-person position based full-time in Irvine, CA.

What you will need (required):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in related field required

  • Master’s Degree or equivalent in related field preferred

  • Minimum 5 years of related experience (Bachelor’s) or 3 years of related experience (Master’s) required or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteria required

  • Experience in medical device, healthcare, or life sciences industry preferred

  • Experience in product management, marketing, or commercial roles preferred

What else we look for (preferred):

  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, product positioning, and commercialization strategies

  • Substantial knowledge of market dynamics including market share, pricing, ASPs, and competitive landscape

  • Ability to analyze and translate clinical and market data into effective marketing strategies

  • Proven ability to forecast product demand based on market trends, sales data, and competitive dynamics

  • Foundational understanding of clinical environment, healthcare systems, and reimbursement frameworks

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to communicate effectively with senior internal and external stakeholders

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills with ability to influence without authority

  • Demonstrated problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment with global marketing, regional teams, and cross-functional partners

  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality and compliance

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite

Aligning our overall business objectives with performance, we offer competitive salaries, performance-based incentives, and a wide variety of benefits programs to address the diverse individual needs of our employees and their families.

For California, the base pay range for this position is $108,000 to $153,000 (highly experienced).
