As a Field Clinical Specialist Imaging Sapien M3 in the TMTT team, you'll play a crucial role in partnering with clinical professionals to deliver our patient-focused therapies including proctoring, training, and education. Your knowledge of working within the hospital ecosystem, combined with our in-depth training program, will help develop you into an Edwards subject matter expert. The time is now to join a team focused on transforming treatment for the many patients in need. We are looking for an imaging specialist that wants to be part of the implementation of the Sapien M3 Therapy in France. This exciting new role will involve being part of delivering our recently approved patient focused innovations. You will be training our HCP Customers and supporting clinical cases across Europe for a new Mitral transcatheter valve replacement system. This is a France field based role with expected travel across Europe.
How you will make an impact:
Identify potential adoption strategies; Responsible for upselling in key strategic accounts working in conjunction with Business Managers.
Act as a lead in providing education on all aspects on two or more technologies or one highly specialized technology of assigned device(s), device handling, implantation and troubleshooting techniques related to equipment, tools and products required for device implants including full certification for independent case support for field clinical specialists.
Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and hospital staff on all aspects of technical matters related to investigational products and procedures including imaging through conducting and/or coordinating one-on-one ad hoc training sessions and in-service structured education programs on two or more technologies or one highly specialized technology.
Develop and improve training curriculum, training materials and training tools, based on clinical trial experience, EW guidelines and SOP.
Responsible for certification of the centers, physicians and other related staff, as well as EW personnel and as outlined within EW SOP.
Validate software and hardware updates in the field as applicable.
Fully monitor clinical support activities, changes in the market and assigned accounts, as well as, competitive activity with cross-functional teams (e.g., sales).
Other incidental duties.
What you'll need (Required):
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related field (Clinical, Imaging, Cardiology, Nursing,...)
Training experience in clinical / technical environment.
Minimum of 5 years of previous related medical device and/or clinical experience required, with preference Mitral therapies.
What else we look for (Preferred):
Proven expertise in MS Office Suite
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English, any other European language is a plus.
Presentation and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills.
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Availability to travel extensively within the European Geography (up to 70% of the time).
Full knowledge and understanding of cardiovascular science and cardiovascular anatomy, pathology and physiology including the applications and “language” of the market and Edwards Lifesciences.
Full understanding of medical device regulatory requirements and documents, device accountability and adverse events reporting.
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
Imaging analysis software skills (e.g. 3Mensio, TomTec, Vitrea, Circle VI, etc.) are preferred, but not required.
