Becton Dickinson (BD) recently completed the acquisition of the Edwards Critical Care business. This position is part of the Critical Care division, and as such will become a part of the BD organization in the future. Critical Care will operate as a separate business unit, called Advanced Patient Monitoring (APM) within BD's medical segment, aligning with BD's smart connected care approach. BD is one of the largest global medical technology companies in the world and is advancing the world of health by improving medical discovery, diagnostics and the delivery of care. This is a unique opportunity to be a part of a dynamic global team.  We are doing innovative work to support the advancement of care for surgical and critically ill patients.  As we continue to invest in major programs and strategic initiatives, we are looking for a talented and passionate marketer for our APM team.

The role will cover territories across the U.S. The ideal candidate should reside near major airports.

The Associate Sales Representatives will manage relationships with a defined list of large APM customers, aiming to grow the APM share of our core business. They will identify, develop, and close new sales opportunities within their portfolio. 

What you'll need (Required):

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 1 year of related outside or B2B sales experience

  • Ability to travel up to 80%

 What else we look for (Preferred):

  • Experience selling B2B or Clinical Sales

  • Serves as main point of contact within own business unit for assigned customer base while acquiring understanding of hemodynamic monitoring and/or cardiovascular anatomy, pathology and physiology relevant to EW medical products as it relates to the business

  • Develops and closes new business opportunities with existing customers and identifies areas of improvement to meet sales targets while contributing to development of short-term region plan

  • Builds and manages strong, long-lasting relationships with customers, referrers, surgeons and other influencers in assigned region to push BD positioning in the market influencing less complex buying decisions using tact and diplomacy

For California (CA), the base pay range for this position is $102,000 to $127,000 (highly experienced).
