Thoracic Anesthesia Symposium (TAS) Hemodynamic Monitoring in Thoracic Surgery: Everyday Applications

Friday, May 13, 12:00-1 p.m. PST

Thoracic surgery has many unique challenges which limit the routine use of advanced hemodynamic monitoring commonly applied in other surgical procedures1. This session will review Acumen HPI software, demonstrate its application in thoracic surgery cases, and explore the utility of combining parameters from Acumen HPI software with other hemodynamic monitoring technologies such as tissue oximetry.

Acumen IQ cuff and Acumen HPI software HPI products

Acumen Hypotension Prediction Index (HPI) software

Unlocked by Acumen IQ cuff** (noninvasive) or Acumen IQ sensor* (minimally invasive), the HPI parameters allow you an opportunity to investigate and identify the root cause of hemodynamic instability.

The HPI parameter value is updated every 20 seconds, providing continuous predictive insights into developing hypotension. The software has demonstrated a reduction*** in the duration of intraoperative hypotension (IOH) by 57%1>.
