Thoracic Anesthesia Symposium (TAS) – Predictive Hemodynamic Monitoring: Application in Thoracic Surgery
Friday, April 23rd at 12:45–1:45 p.m. CST
Thoracic surgery has many unique challenges that limit the routine use of advanced hemodynamic monitoring commonly applied in other surgical procedures1. Acumen Hypotension Prediction Index (HPI) software is a first-of-its-kind technology that provides clinicians with information regarding the likelihood of a patient trending toward a hypotensive event,* along with insights to understand the root cause to inform a potential course of action for your patient. The use of Acumen HPI software during thoracic surgery will be explored through a review of one center's experience applying the technology.
To attend this session, add it to your agenda from the TAS program.

*. A hypotensive event is defined as MAP <65 mmHg for a duration of at least one minute.

From Noninvasive to Predictive: Exploring Individualized Approaches to Hemodynamic Monitoring in Cardiac Procedures
Saturday, April 24th at 12:00–1:00 p.m. CST
Join us for an update on the current applications of advanced hemodynamic monitoring in cardiac procedures. This session will explore the impact of intraoperative hypotension and explore the shift from prescriptive to predictive monitoring for managing hypotension. We will review the latest in minimally and noninvasive monitoring technologies that provide insights into blood pressure, blood flow and tissue oximetry to guide individualized care. Case studies, expert panel discussion and live Q&A will be used to explore the application of these latest technologies.
To attend this session, add it to your agenda from the SCA program.

Acumen HPI software with Acumen IQ sensor
Acumen IQ sensor unlocks this first-of-its-kind predictive decision support software, which detects the likelihood of a patient trending toward a hypotensive event.*
*A hypotensive event is defined as MAP <65 mmHg for a duration of at least one minute.
ClearSight system – now on HemoSphere platform
The noninvasive ClearSight system provides advanced hemodynamic parameters and continuous noninvasive blood pressure from a finger cuff, which can aid in hypotension management, as well as play a role in the early detection of various shock states.Explore noninvasive hemodynamic monitoring
ForeSight Elite tissue oximetry system
The ForeSight Elite tissue oximetry system continuously monitors oxygen saturation, noninvasively. The ForeSight Elite system is available on HemoSphere advanced monitoring platform, giving you a comprehensive view of tissue oximetry and advanced hemodynamics on one monitor so you can ensure your patient is adequately perfused.Get predictive decision support
New FastCCOTM algorithm for Swan-Ganz catheters
The Swan-Ganz pulmonary artery catheter offers a comprehensive hemodynamic profile delivered by a single catheter. Now enabled by the new FastCCO™ algorithm on the latest HemoSphere platform software, the Swan-Ganz catheter provides CO/SV readings every 20 seconds to help you make proactive decisions for your patients.Get answers in seconds
