Edwards Lifesciences’ financial relationships with Romanian physicians

Pursuant to official order of the Romanian National Agency on Medicines and Medical Devices, effective July 2015 manufacturers of medical devices including Edwards are required to report payments and transfers of value made to Romanian physicians to that authority, as well as publish such on their websites effective October 2015. Edwards has adopted the MedTech Europe Code of Ethical Business Practice, has implemented policies and procedures to implement the Code as part of its compliance program, and certifies biannually that it will abide by the Code.
