As part of our R&D team, you will work closely with our Quality and Manufacturing teams to develop the latest tools and technologies to address significant, unmet clinical needs that impact patients’ lives around the world.

As System Architect, you will be designing and developing solutions that meet the technical and business requirements of our Smart Cut project. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, evaluating technology options, and ensuring that our systems are efficient, reliable, and compliant with industry standards.


How you will make an impact:

  • Design and develop System solutions that encompass hardware, software, networking, and data storage components.

  • Understand top and low-level design of embedded systems and drive integration projects.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze system requirements, translating business needs and technical constraints into technical specifications and design architecture solutions.

  • Evaluate and make recommendations for technology selection based on organizational needs, budget constraints, and strategic goals.

  • Design architecture solutions that support system integration, optimize system performance, and scalability.

  • Conduct research and analysis to identify project needs, devise strategies to reach particular goals, improve existing systems, and implement solutions for optimal processes.

  • Document architecture designs, technical specifications, and implementation plans.


What you’ll need (Required):

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (Electrical, Software, or Computer Science preferred).

  • 10 years of experience in System Engineering/Architecture preferably in the medical device industry.

  • Experience in Software design development

  • Fluent in English, with strong verbal communication skills to work with partners in the US.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and effectively.

  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, including negotiating and relationship management.

  • Preferred knowledge in R&D innovation, taking ideas into executable concepts, considering all relevant parties (such as software, hardware, security, IT, mechanics, regulation, etc.).

  • Proactive approach, setting meetings with all involved parties to design systems based on requirements, coordinate and manage the development of test systems.

  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills.

  • Ability to navigate the corporate environment effectively.

  • Strong technical writing skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a cross-functional team in a dynamic environment.

  • Understanding of engineering principles, theories, and concepts.

  • Knowledge of statistical techniques and medical device quality system regulations.
