Forbes partnered with market research firm Statista to compile its list by surveying 50,000 Americans working for large businesses with at least 5,000 employees. Participants were asked to rate their willingness to recommend their own employers to friends and family, and to nominate organizations other than their own. Statista also asked women to assess how companies use their platforms and marketing messages: to promote gender equality or to perpetuate negative stereotypes? Representation at the executive and board levels were taken into account, too. Edwards Lifesciences ranked #27 of 300 global companies.
