AVA High-Flow Device

Your patient’s needs may change by the minute, but their central venous access shouldn’t.

  • The Advanced Venous Access (AVA) design integrates the capabilities of an introducer and multi-lumen central venous access into a single device.
  • Insert an Edwards Swan-Ganz catheter when hemodynamic monitoring is required.
  • Proprietary design includes flexible lumen walls that quickly adapt to fluid delivery needs.
  • Available with or without AMC Thromboshield treatment, an antimicrobial* heparin coating.

*All model numbers with an “H” contain Edwards AMC THROMBOSHIELD coating (An Antimicrobial† Heparin Coating). Antimicrobial activity associated with AMC THROMBOSHIELD coating has been demonstrated using in vitro diffusion agar assays against the following organisms: Staphylococcus epidermidis, Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus faecalis, Candida albicans, Escherichia coli, Serratia marcescens, and Acinetobacter calcoaceticus.

†Decreases viable microbe count on surface of product during handling and placement.
