Edwards Lifesciences, the global leader in the science of heart valves and hemodynamic monitoring, develops MBA graduates into future Edwards leaders through our strategic leadership development program (SLDP). You’ll grow tremendously through a variety of engaging assignments that address the complex business needs and challenges you’d expect at an expanding global organization, where 10,000+ employees work together to make a difference to millions of patients worldwide.
Two years. A multitude of experiences.
In just two short years, you’ll advance your healthcare expertise while acquiring highly practical business knowledge through four, six-month rotations that will expose you to a broad range of Edwards business units. Plus, you’ll have the chance to pursue international opportunities and gain hands-on experience across multiple functional areas, from strategy and healthcare solutions, to sales operations, marketing and business development.
You. Owning your career.
What makes the Edwards experience different is that you play a role in shaping it. Choose your rotation selections. Pick the assignments that augment your current skill set. Whatever path you take the work is meaningful, and the impact is extraordinary.
You’ll also thrive because of the dedicated support we provide along the way. Starting with a robust onboarding program, your experience is further defined by executive mentorship, a leadership coach, customized training and annual rotation presentations. At the end of the program, use the global network you’ve established to explore the right opportunity for you within Edwards.

Sound interesting? Great — here is what you can expect from the process. Each fall, we interview qualified second-year MBA candidates at selected universities. The best potential candidates are then invited to our Southern California headquarters for final round interviews the first week of November.
These final round interviews offer a first-hand look into the Edwards culture, allowing you to get to know the local MBA community and interact with upper management. We then determine the best SLDP candidates and extend offers prior to the Thanksgiving holiday.
