Accounting and Finance Development Program
PROGRAM OVERVIEW

A highly selective, 24-month full-time program with hands-on rotation through six different functions typically spanning four months each:

Financial Planning & Analysis Corporate Accounting & Reporting
Preparation of the planning system for quarterly forecasts and annual operating plans Monthly close plus analyzing and reporting monthly results against plan and forecast
Cost Accounting Business Unit Finance
Calculation of product standard costs plus analyzing and reporting manufacturing variances and inventory Support of a business unit in monthly close, quarterly forecasting and annual operating plan processes
Internal Audit Treasury or Corporate Tax (elective)
Assistance with internal audit engagements across the company Participation in cash flow management, filing tax returns and managing the company’s transfer price system

After completion of the rotation, Accounting & Finance Development Program participants assume a high-impact role within Edwards, typically in our global headquarters in Irvine, California.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics from an Accredited University
  • 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale)
  • Proof of U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency Authorization

  • Leadership Capabilities Demonstrated through Extracurricular Activities, Employment and/or Internships
  • Ability to Excel in a Team-Based Environment
  • Strong Analytical, Problem Solving, Interpersonal and Communication Skills
